He determines to make her acquaintance and feigns illness that he may be taken to the hospital. Tom, however, makes the mistake of confiding in his friend Bill, who, being a practical joker, sees an opportunity to have some fun at Tom's expense. Bill communicates with the hospital and informs Nora, the nurse, that Tim is laying siege to her heart through crafty subterfuge.
