Of a morning she comes late to breakfast and in her nightie. Gertrude and Antrim, children, are the only ones at the table and a fruit fight is soon commenced. Despite father's appeal, mother goes to investigate. Antrim and Gertrude place the blame on Kathie and she is spanked. None of the other children care to have Kathie around. Because Antrim drives her away from where he is playing marbles with his chum, she steals some of them; she interferes with Edna's love affair with the minister and again is spanked. When father returns that evening he listens to the recital of all the bad things Kathie has done. But father understands; he goes to the child and soon she is nestling in a pair of loving arms.
