Arthur Lyons and other friends kidnap Dick, bear him to the Lyons home and there, by prearrangement, a servant informs him that the house has just been quarantined for smallpox. Dick attempts to force his way out but is halted by policemen. Night breaks into dawn and as the hours quickly turn into minutes until the wedding time, Dick becomes frantic. Finally he escapes through a coal chute and reaches the altar a few moments before noon, but still in time for the ceremony.
