Eric can hardly hide his disappointment when Samantha shows up the party instead of Taylor. When he finally finds a moment to speak to Samantha in private, the model explains to him that Taylor had second thoughts about their relationship and left town. Macy and Thorne confront Sally over crashing Ridge and Brooke's party who insists that she also merely wants to honor Eric by being there. Stephanie has a charming conversation with the formidable Mr. Blackwell when Sally boldly introduces herself to the dreaded fashion critic. James is happy to hear that Lauren plans on staying in L.A. indefinitely. Maggie tells Connor that she is amazed to be part of such a lush festivity.
