It's the last day of the writing sessions for one band's debut album. However the band has not been able to write a single and with one night left, they need to come up with something fast and good. The lead singer, Alice, suggests after ...See moreIt's the last day of the writing sessions for one band's debut album. However the band has not been able to write a single and with one night left, they need to come up with something fast and good. The lead singer, Alice, suggests after some arguing that 'from now on, if anyone wants to say anything it must be sung,' in a desperate attempt to come up with some material. Steve, the guitarist, is so annoyed that he begins to make up a song sarcastically with lyrics meant to continue the argument with Alice. Alice then chimes in for a retort verse as they break into a chorus 'This Band is Done' indicating they mutually intend to break up after the end of this song. However once they finish, the drummer, Martin, applauds making them realize how great the song they just made was. They decide that will be their single and they make up. However when they go to play the song back they can't remember how it goes. They decide they don't need a single and the band is really about the friendship they have and so they play the soup song one last time before deciding to get some coffee and play an open bar like old times.
