He took his own life while I was at a 2 week artist residency. It was hard for me to focus on art as I was in a state of grieving for my friend. This film is not a testament to him or me trying to encapsulate his personhood in a film - that would be impossible. It is just sharing my grief, my loss of a friend that I cared about.
