After Venus doesn't get the acting role of her dreams at a company she's always dreamed of joining, she meets with her best friend Sheryl, who just found out her audition for the school choir was not as well-received as she thought, and was rejected. When Venus and Sheryl meet Iris, a new student who's heartbroken over her recent breakup, they vow to help her overcome her heartbreak by creating "The Dead Dreams Club." In this club, Venus makes classmates and friends "dreams" come true through the characters of her stories, leading each of them to discover something even better than their dreams. They each find joy by discovering their new talents and even invite other students to join the club. As the club becomes popular, even more people want to join, so they, too, realize what their futures could hold, instead of continuing to agonize over their long-held, unattainable dreams.
