Sometimes they are alone and misunderstood in this fight. Sometimes they face hopeless situations. If they win, their joy is never complete because they live with the awareness of the cruelty that people commit en masse against animals. An extremely difficult moment is approaching, as every year there will be a horse fair in Skaryszew, from which most of the horses are sent to slaughter. It is a symbolic, largest and oldest market. That's why the main character of the film, Scarlett - who is also the founder of TARA - the first horse shelter in Poland - comes up with a crazy idea to buy all the horses from the symbolic "death market".
