His depression is so bad that he will not speak to anyone, including his best friend RICK. Rick is trying his best to cheer up his depression by watching movies with him and to go out to sports bars with beautiful girls. James declines by just a glare towards him. Rick decides to leave and hopes his friend will get better. A few moments later, James is staring at the mirror in the bathroom. James goes through many emotions as he is looking back at himself: Doubt, Sadness, Fury, Rage. He expresses these emotions quietly, as the water pours into the sink. The reason why he is in depression is not addressed, leaving the audience who may have had a case of depression.
