People Like Us reminds us that people are not perfect and that's okay. For young people, images of the ideal and the perfect - perfect body, perfect job, perfect life - are pervasive but ultimately empty. People like Us shows a group of unexceptional youths have an unexpected experience with people with disability. It highlights humanity's similarities and strengths and encourages the viewer to re-evaluate their own perceptions of young people, challenges and social inclusion. See less
