In a dystopian world, creativity has become commonplace, and all ideas of free thinking have been confined to a room known as 'The Box'. Brian, a young man and artist, is determined to find a new perspective, even if this means going against the forces of administration. With stark contrast between the black and white world of 'The Box' and Brian's vibrant enthusiasm, this film juxtaposes the supposed blandness of previously proposed ideas with the enticing notion of a unique thought. This Side Up is a short film that calls audiences to reach for unorthodox solutions and creative insight in their own lives, even in times when a new idea seems unfathomable. See less
