I NEVER HEARD MY FATHER SPEAK, is a compelling story about second chances, forgiveness, and redemption. The film takes us into the lives of an urban family struggling to survive life's harsh realities, and lessons. Aron told Shala that he would always be there for her and Jalen, but the darkness of the streets kept calling his name, and anointed him "King." He was constantly in and out of jail, until one day he was charged with a crime that could send him away for good. During his demise, he meets Monty, a counselor, who puts him on the path to restoration with his past, and his son, Jalen. Shala couldn't see past all the hurt, and bad influences Aron had caused; so she did everything within her power to keep Jalen from his father. Jalen, had mixed emotions.
