Shweta Bachchan Nanda reveals Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's great skin is due to mustard oil: 'They never had cosmetic treatments or procedures done'

Shweta Bachchan Nanda recently shared her beauty secrets and revealed that her parents, veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, owe their 'very good skin' to an unexpected ingredient - mustard oil. She explained that while her mother, Jaya Bachchan, uses mustard oil in cooking, particularly for preparing Bengali dishes, her father, Amitabh Bachchan, applies it directly to his skin.
Discussing the topic of aging with Mira Rajput, wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, on her YouTube channel, alongside actors Neetu Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, and Kusha Kapila, Shweta admitted, “I am really scared of needles, and I would love to get lots of jobs done. But I am just so scared of the needles and the pain that I don't know if I will be able to. Therefore, my only option is that you really work hard at it (Taking care of your skin). I also feel that 80 percent of your skin is genetics and diet. And my parents (Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan) have great skin."

She went on to say, "I think the only common thing that they both have is mustard oil. So my mum eats a lot of her fish and everything because Bengalis use mustard oil. My dad uses it (mustard oil) on his face and body. And they have never touched their faces (Had cosmetic treatments and procedures done), and I think for 81 and 76, they have very good skin."

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan have two children, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan. Shweta is an author and entrepreneur. Abhishek, on the other hand, followed his father’s footsteps into Bollywood and is married to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and they have a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan.
