In order to promote ‘Singham Returns’, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor previously made an appearance on ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. On the show, when Kapil questioned Ajay about his well-known notorious jokes, he opened up with a funny anecdote. He recounted an incident when he once used a software to send texts appearing to be coming from another person's phone.
Ajay recounted sending a late-night message from Amitabh Bachchan's number to his PR, Parag Desai, requesting him to meet at 5:30 AM. Parag was anxious when he arrived and wondered what was wrong. Big B was puzzled and wondered why Parag was in the gym at that early hour. To which, Parag responded that he had called him, leading to further confusion as the superstar insisted he hadn’t. He was even alarmed when Parag showed him the message. Amitabh Bachchan was amused enough by Ajay's eventual revelation of the prank and wished to learn how to use the software himself.
On October 07, the official trailer for Rohit Shetty's ‘Singham Again’ was unveiled by the cast and the crew. The story will reportedly be following a Ramayana-like trajectory with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
The third sequel of the popular franchise, ‘Singham Again’, is scheduled to release in theaters on November 1. Rohit’s cop-universe began with ‘Singham’ in 2011, which starred Kajal Aggarwal, Prakash Raj, and Ajay Devgn in prominent parts. This was followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014, where Ajay Devgn starred alongside Kareena Kapoor and Amole Gupte. With the release of ‘Simmba’ in 2018, which brought Ranveer Singh into the world of cops, and ‘Sooryavanshi’ in 2021, which starred Akshay Kumar, the franchise continued to grow. Each movie has done well at the box office.
