Abstract

The plastic tubs (2) are each fitted with a flange (23) and an enlarged cylindrical portion below the upper edge (21). This enables the containers to snap into the holes in the board (8). The flange prevents the containers from falling through. The board (8) is suitable for four containers and is scored along the axes (6) and (7) so that each tub may be separated as required. The tubs are sealed by covering with a sheet of foil, welded to the flange. The method allows for containers to be filled with different products before closing.
