Abstract
1,105,385. Snap-action switches. VERTEXVERTRIEBS G.m.b.H. 2 June, 1965 [10 June, 1964], No. 23446/65. Heading H1N. [Also in Division A4] A microswitch 41 controlling the operation of a driving motor of a flow polishing machine (see Division A4) is mounted in a casing 31 at the upper ends of the handle shafts 4 of the machine, and is closable by pressing either or both of two levers 32, 33 towards the handle 5, but only after a button 39 has been pressed to displace a lever 38 to allow a pin 46 thereon to slide over a guide 45 on the microswitch 41. Operation of the lever 32 and/or the lever 33 then depresses a crank lever 35 and the lever 38 so that the pin 46 tilts the microswitch 41 to actuate the push button 44 thereof by pressing it against a lever 37. In an alternative switchactuating means (Fig. 8, not shown) the lever 38, guide 45, and pin 46 are not provided, and the microswitch is closable by pressing the push button 39 to actuate a switch pin passing through the microswitch and engaging the lever 37, but such actuation can be effected only if the lever 32 and/or the lever 33 has been pressed towards the handle 5.
