Abstract

1326098 Strip fastenings VELCRO FRANCE 4 Aug 1970 37625/70 Heading E2S A wall, ceiling or floor is provided with a coating consisting of an array of parallel strips 2 disposed at regular intervals and fixed preferably by gluing to the wall, ceiling or floor 1, and a coating material 4 of sheet form overlying and retained by the said array of strips, each strip having a multitude of hooking elements 3 on its surface facing the coating material, and the whole of that surface 5 of the coating material which faces the wall, ceiling or floor is of a downy, fluffy, fibrous, foamed or looped structure which is engaged by the hooking elements 3. The front 6 of the coating material may be a sheet of another material e.g. plastics, wood, metal having a desired decorative appearance.
