Abstract

Resistances. - A heating- element consists of a ribbon a wound in the form of a double coarse thread around a serrated sheet f of mica, both ends of the ribbon terminating at one end of the sheet, and being connected by rivets d with metal connecting strips e; the element is insulated on either side and encased in a flattened metal tube. The element may be used in waterheaters of the type described in Specification 107,038, [Class 39 (iii), Heating by electricity].
