Cylinders, mounting and varying clearance in. -A thread A<4> cut on the end of the cylinder is engaged by a screwed sleeve C which is locked in position by a pin C<4> which passes through the top of the crank case B and engages one of a series of holes in the flange C<2> of the sleeve. After adjustment the cylinder is secured by a split wedge-shaped ring D between the flange A<2> and the crank case.
