Abstract
In an internal combustion engine of the compression ignition type, which is cooled by its lubricating oil, the improvement is disclosed by which a spirally wound duct is formed around the combustion chamber jacket and an annular duct is formed around the fuel injector seat, said oil being caused to flow through said ducts, which are mutually connected by a passageway formed in the engine head. <IMAGE>
