Abstract
520,511. Air-heating stoves. GOEMANS, J. A. M., and GUTHRIE, A. S. Nov. 3, 1938, No. 31844. [Class 64 (i)] Air entering at the bottom of casings 10 on the sides of a stove flows upwards into heating spaces 12, 5 above the fire space, and air entering at the middle of the stove flows upwards through a casing 13 extending around the upper part of the combustion chamber and together with the air from the casings 10 is delivered into a room through damper-controlled outlets 16. In a modification, the side casings extend to the top of the stove and the heating space 5 is replaced by pipes extending across the combustion chamber from one side casing to the other, and the upper air heating casing 13 extends along the front and back only of the combustion chamber.
