[Class 44] [Also in Group XVII] Wedge fastenings for securing a lid or base to a box comprise plates a, g secured to the box members and having edges b bent over to inter-engage along a line at about 30 degrees to the adjacent edges of the members. The lid or base is slid horizontally over the body to inter-engage the plates a, g, and is wedged to the body by the action of their sloping surfaces. The fastenings are secured to the box members by pressed-out tongues.
