Abstract

692,948. Boxes. STANNARD, Ltd., A. E. May 18, 1951 [Oct. 17, 1950], No. 25257/50. Class 18. A box formed from a single blank and having an outlet aperture 10 and an integral cover 14 therefor, is erected by folding the blank into a rectangular tube with the end panel 6 lying adjacent the inner surface of the rear wall 1 from which the cover 14 extends. The cover is held in the closed position overlying the aperture 10 in the top wall 9 by a flap 11 engaging a slot 26 in the front wall 2. The ends of the box are closed by flaps 20 to 23 on the walls 5 and 9 being inturned and over which tuck-in flaps 18 on end wall 16 projecting from the rear wall 1 extend inwardly of the box. The aperture 10 may partly extend into the front wall 2 by curving the edge as at 27.
