DUBAI, March 28. /TASS/. Tehran has sent its official response to US President Donald Trump’s letter to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with the mediation of Oman, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

"The official response to Trump’s letter was sent yesterday in the appropriate form through Oman," he told the IRNA news agency.

According to Araghchi, the message comprises two documents. The first one outlines Tehran’s views on the current geopolitical situation in the world, while the second one breaks down Trump’s remarks and comments on them.

On March 7, Trump wrote on his Truth Social page that he had sent a message to Khamenei proposing negotiations on Tehran's nuclear program. In response, the Iranian leader dismissed the offer, stating that Iran would not engage in dialogue with the US, as Washington is solely driven by its own interests.
