apropos

This was my profile picture for a number of years. It is no longer, but I keep it here as it matches my website theme.

Hi! I’m JJ. I go by apropos (among other names) on the Internet.

I’m currently an undergraduate at the University of British Columbia. I study mathematics and linguistics, with some computer science on the side. Previously, I hunted flags for Maple Bacon, though I’m taking a bit of a break to focus on research and hobbies for now.

On the side, I enjoy contributing to free-and-open-source projects.
