The EHDI Conference plays a vital role in strengthening early hearing detection and intervention programs across the country. 🦻🏽 Clarke proudly celebrates #WorldHearingDay, raising awareness about hearing loss and the importance of ear and hearing healthcare. This year’s theme, "Changing Mindsets: Empower Yourself to Make Ear and Hearing Care a Reality for All," encourages individuals to take charge of their hearing health and advocate for others. Haille Berger, a Clarke Hearing Center extern studying to become an educational audiologist brings a unique perspective to her work in hearing healthcare. 🌍✨ We’re excited to celebrate Clarke alum Abby and her incredible journey for #InternationalCochlearImplantDay! From a prognosis that she’d never walk, talk or hear after contracting bacterial meningitis as an infant to her current role uplifting college athletes at Westfield State University, Abby’s story highlights the life-changing impact of hearing technology and a strong support system. Now 26, Abby is an avid CrossFit athlete and serves as a student-athlete leadership coordinator through an NCAA Ethnic Minorities and Women’s Internship Grant. 🎓 The 2025 application for the Caroline A. Yale Memorial Fund scholarship is now live! Established in 1937 by the Clarke Schools Alumni Council, this scholarship is a tribute to Caroline A. Yale’s remarkable 60-year legacy at Clarke, including 36 years as principal. The scholarship is open to former Clarke students who’ve participated in Clarke programs or services for at least one year, whether they graduated or transitioned to mainstream education early. 📅 To apply for the scholarship, please complete the online form by May 1, 2025.
