  • Playing with sirens, lights, and more – our community had a hands-on public safety experience at Children's Safety Village of Central Florida this past weekend.🚔 Our Corrections team brought four vehicles to the annual Touch-A-Truck event to educate families about public safety while allowing hands-on experiences with our vehicles. We had a blast interacting with our community and educating about our jail while meeting some of our brightest (and youngest) future public safety heroes.⭐

  • 🌟 Bright Lights, Safer Nights! 🌙 Did you know half of all traffic fatalities happen at night, even though only 25% of travel occurs after dark? That’s why street lighting is a game-changer! Properly lit roads help drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians see and react faster, reducing crashes and making our streets safer for everyone. Through the Accelerated Transportation Safety Program, we are funding new roadway lighting projects to enhance visibility and improve safety across our communities. ✨ Learn more about how we’re making our roads safer: bit.ly/orangeATSP
