Here is a short overview and their submission guidelines: Call for Papers and Proposals: Amerikastudien / American Studies Amerikastudien / American Studies: A Quarterly is one of Europe’s leading journals in the field of American studies. With a community of over 20,000 readers in at least 85 nations across all continents, we take pride in providing open access online to high-end, interdisciplinary research in the fields of American literature, culture, society, history, politics, media, language, and pedagogies. Founded in 1956, Amerikastudien / American Studies has its home base at the universities of Marburg and Flensburg and ensures highest academic publication standards through a double-blind peer review process, a broadly international board of reviewers, and our collaboration with a professional publishing house. The journal is currently accepting paper manuscripts, proposals for interviews or forum contributions, as well as proposals for special issues via [email protected]. Call for Papers Amerikastudien / American Studies is continuously accepting manuscripts for papers (8,000 words max.) for double-blind peer review. Manuscripts should be submitted to the editorial offices at Europa-Universität Flensburg and Philipps-Universität Marburg via [email protected]. All submissions should be in MS Word format (.docx, 2010 and higher), preceded by an abstract in English of no more than 200 words, and following MLA 7th ed. parenthetical citation style. Articles should contain no references to the author. Upon submission, please confirm explicitly that the article has not been previously published (online or in print) and is not currently under review elsewhere. 2moAccountants "copy edit" numbers. Copy editors audit words. Sure, get rid of the copy editor. When the publication turns into garbage, no one will write for it or read it. Then ask yourself how many beans will the bean counters count if there are no beans?
