Jack becomes upset while Saul and Karen want to discuss their strategic business options. Jack brings Stephanie flowers to cheer her up and tells her that he loves her. Stephanie admits that Jack is the only one who can make her forget all the drama in her family and company. They kiss tenderly. Brooke gets settled in at her brand new office. To celebrate, Brooke asks Connor to come to dinner with her, unaware of his plans with Karen. Stephanie taunts Sheila that her house of cards is about collapse because Connor is apparently onto her and will limit her influence on Brooke. Holding Karen's letter in her hand, Sheila no longer feels threatened by the attorney and plots to ruin Connor by exposing his relationship with the Spencer heir. As her next step, Sheila nonchalantly delivers the resealed envelope to Connor. After reading her note, Connor calls Karen who - to his surprise - explains that seeing him tonight means a lot to her.
