The film has been a journey for director, Florencia Davidzon. On the brink of turning 40, she wants to tell her story in a larger perspective, a story that explores a non-violent push against tyranny in different cultures. Davidzon is Argentinean, raised in a middle-class family in Buenos Aires. She grew up surrounded by disappearances and torture that were never discussed. Growing up she came to understand the joy of democracy through horrific stories of dictatorship. As a teenager she grew angry at the adults in her life for not taking action. She promised herself she would never be so blind to the torture and atrocities. She committed herself to help those who needed it. Now, though she lives in the United States, she is committed to acting globally. She is turning 40 - the age of her parents when Florencia realized they refused to act. Florencia began her journey by confronting fears in China and Tibet. Written by Orale Productions LLC See less
