In fact, the sea and the fishery are an embodiment of sociological values and identity of this region that treasures the sea and has respected it for generations. Unfortunately, the very existence of a traditional way of life of this community have been threatened by the increasingly interfering and often mindlessly implemented EU legislation which has even managed to restrict freedom of choice of a way of life there.
