Even though people in Kerala worship goddesses, In real life woman are treated badly and has been restricted from may practices. As the the film title is going with the worshipping of Hindu goddess 'chudala badrakali' ( She is one of the fierce forms of the Great Goddess Devi ), the title footages has been shot originally at the worshipping ritual of Goddess Bhadrakali happened in Iyvormadom (crematorium) in Palakkad district Kerala, in the ritual even no woman are allowed to play the role of bhadrakali even though ritual is about worshipping of a female goddess.
