When Aamir Khan had said he's deeply romantic, 'meri dono beewiyon se puchlo', before he made relationship with Gauri Spratt official

Aamir Khan recently celebrated his 60th birthday and on this occasion, he introduced his girlfriend Gauri Spratt to the media. He revealed that they have been dating since 18 months and he could keep it a secret from the media as Gauri is from Bengaluru. He revealed that he was often travelling there to meet her, hence it was kept a secret from the media. Meanwhile, he also said that they both felt at peace with each other and it's a serious, committed relationship, hence they felt like sharing it now.
Here's recalling when Aamir spoke about finding true love and how he has evolved in love, before he made his relationship official with Gauri. During the trailer launch of Junaid's film 'Loveyapa', Aamir had spoken about his idea of love. The actor had said he's very romantic even at this age. "Main bohot romantic aadmi ho, maa kasam. Bohot funny lagta hai sunne mein but meri dono biwiyon se puch lo. (I'm very romantic, it may sound funny to you, but please ask both my wives). So, all my favourite films are romantic. I get lost in romantic movies. I'm a believer of true love. As we grow in life, our understanding of love evolves. Aap samajhte hai, zindagi ko, logon ko, apne aap ko. (You evolve as your grow and you understand yourself and others more)," said Aamir.
Aamir was earlier married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao.
He added, “As I've grown, I've realised ke meri kya kya kamiyan, galtiyan rahi hai aur maine unko sudharne ki koshish ki hai. (I've realised now where I was wrong and I've tried to improve on my mistakes). For me, today, the meaning of love is to find someone who is your soulmate, jiske saath aap comfortable hai and you feel main apni manzil tak pahunch chuka hoon, when I find a person who I am organically connected. (For me, love is about finding a soulmate which gives you a feeling that you've reached your destination in life)."
Aamir revealed that he feels settled now that he’s found Gauri.
