Description

  

  Verfahren zur     Veredelung    von     Bettfedern    und Flaum.    Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Ver  fahren zur Veredlung von Bettfedern und  Flaum, das darin besteht, dass die Bettfedern       bezw.    der Flaum in einem mit Luft gefüllten       Raurn    während längerer Zeit bewegt werden,  um so den Bettfedern     bezw.    dem Flaum  Feuchtigkeit und Staubteile zu entziehen und  dadurch eine Veredlung von Bettfedern     bezw.     des Flaumes herbeizuführen.  



  Das Verfahren nach der Erfindung kann  beispielsweise in der Weise ausgeführt wer  den, dass die zu veredelnden Bettfedern     bezw.     der Flaum in eine drehbar angeordnete Trom  mel derart eingefüllt werden, dass noch ein  grösserer, freier, nicht gefüllter Raum verbleibt.  Die Trommel wird dann in Umdrehung ver  setzt.     Man    kann nun den Bettfedern     bezw.     dem Flaum frische Luft oder erwärmte Luft  beispielsweise durch ein Gebläse oder auch       Wärme    unter Vermeidung eines künstlichen  Warmluftstromes zuführen, um die Veredlung  zu beschleunigen.  



  Unter dem Einfluss der andauernden Be  wegung in der Luft geben die Bettfedern         bezw.    der Flaum ihre Feuchtigkeit zum gröss  ten     \feil    an die Luft ab und Staubteile lösen  sich von demselben. Die Bettfedern speziell  krümmen sich mehr und erreichen dadurch  eine grössere Füllkraft.  



  Die Zeitdauer, während der die Veredlung  stattfindet, kann beliebig bestimmt und aus  gedehnt werden, je nach dem Grad der Ver  edlung, die gewünscht wird. Während der  selben kann der Trommel frische Luft oder  erwärmte Luft durch ein Gebläse oder Wärme  unter Vermeidung eines künstlichen. Warm  luftstromes zugeführt werden. Endlich ist  es möglich, gleichzeitig Desinfektionsmittel  in Form von Dämpfen und Gasen in die  Trommel zu leiten und die Ware mit diesem  zu behandeln.  



  Den Bettfedern     bezw.    dem     Flaum    kann  während der Bewegung frische Luft und  Wärme zugeführt werden.
