La. figure unique du dessin montre le di-,pasitif de cuisson en section verticale. Le dispositif représenté comprend une < ,iivelo#p#pe 1 de forme cylindrique, faite en dont la partie inférieure est découpée afin de former des pieds \? par lesquels l'en- v-loppe repose sur une plaque de base 3.
A l'intérieur de l'enveloppe 1 est ménagé un foyer 4 limité vers le bas par une cloison 1 ransversa.le 5, qui est destinée à recevoir 1e# combustible, par exemple du bois au du charbon. Au-dessus du fond du foyer est disposée une plaque perforée 6 solidaire d'une cuuronne périphérique 15 et posée librement @ r de.;; supports î qui sont fixés à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe.
Cette plaque 6 sert de grille et peut également recevoir du combustible, par exemple du charbon. de bois. Dans: l'enve loppe 1 sont ménagés une porte 8 et un registra 9 pour régler l'entrée de l'air de combustion. La couronne 15 forme une sur face d'appui pour une marmite ou tout autre récipient de cuisson 10. Sur le bord supé rieur de l'enveloppe 1 sont disposés des sup ports 11 formant une surface d'appui pour un deuxième récipient 12 devant être chauffé.
Sur la face extérieure de l'enveloppe 1 sont fixées deux anses ou poignées 13 permettant de saisir le dispositif en vue de son trans port ou de sa manipulation, par exemple pour la. vidange des cendres. L'extrémité supérieure de l'enveloppe 1 présente une série de trous 14 pour la sortie, des gaz.
Grâce aux deux récipients. superposés 10 et 12, le dispositif décrit permet- une bonne utilisation de la. chaleur du foyer 4, l'air chaud pouvant monter par l'espace ménagé entre le récipient 10 et l'enveloppe 1 et chauf fer le récipient supérieur 12. Vu les dimen sions restreintes du dispositif, il est facile ment transportable et maniable et peut se poser sur n'importe quelle table ou autre support quelconque.
L'avantage du dispositif décrit consiste dans le fait qu'on peut, au choix, se servir de deux combustibles, soit à la fois, soit iso lément. L'un des deux combustibles étant du- bois, on peut réduire celui-ci, dans le dispo sitif même, en charbon de bois qui servira pour la prochaine cuisson comme second com- bustibl@e. Le combustible placé. sur la grille 6 est introduit par le haut de l'enveloppe 1., tandis que le combustible placé sur la. plaque 5 est introduit par la porte 8.
Le dispositif de cuisson représenté est destiné à être utilisé en, plein air, car les fumées s'échappant simplement par les trous 14 de l'enveloppe.
Si l'on veut utiliser ce dis- positif dans un appartement, il y a lieu d'en visager une cheminée qui sera raccordée à une ouverture de l'enveloppa 1, prévue légè rement au-dessus de la .grille 6, de façon à pouvoir servir à la fois à l'évacuation des espaces au-dessous et au@desssus de la grilla 6.
Les trous 14 de l'enveloppe seront dans ce cas fermés. par des volets qu'on peut suspen dre de toute façon convenable à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur de l'enveloppe.

The fuel placed. on the grid 6 is introduced through the top of the casing 1., while the fuel placed on the. plate 5 is introduced through door 8.
The cooking device shown is intended for use in the open air, since the fumes simply escape through the holes 14 of the casing.
If we want to use this device in an apartment, it is advisable to envisage a chimney which will be connected to an opening of the casing 1, provided slightly above the grid 6, so to be able to be used at the same time for the evacuation of the spaces below and @ the top of the grill 6.
The holes 14 of the envelope will in this case be closed. by shutters which can be suspended in any suitable way inside or outside the envelope.
