Abstract

The complete diaper of disposable nappy type comprises, on the one hand, a central pad (7) made from absorbent material (fluff) whose longitudinal wings (9) are folded back under the median part without their ends (10) joining up. It comprises, on the other hand, a lower layer (3) made from absorbent material, adhesively bonded directly, at several points (6), onto an outer impermeable sheet (1), the edges of which are folded back under the ends (15) of the web (14) made from nonwoven material, so as not to enter into contact with the baby's skin. Description

The invention relates to a complete diaper or diaper combination with high absorption capacity having a central pad.

The use of conventional small diapers proves to be inconvenient and uncomfortable for the baby, due to the need for separate support panties, not ensuring the desired tightness in many cases of restless babies. , abundant quantities, and impractical for the mother: double work, cleaning of sheets or other dirty parts.

We thus created the complete diapers or diapers formed of an absorbent layer fixed on an impermeable external support of the sheet type made of flexible plastic material serving as panties and having means of joining, adhesive or other, of each of the ends around the baby's belly.

The low price of these handsets allows, after each use, to throw them away and replace them with a new part.

If these complete changes brought significant technical progress in the field of baby diapers, this solution was not without drawbacks, the main ones of which are as follows:

- risks of opening;

- poorly distributed absorption area located at the crotch;

- insufficient absorption surface for the total thickness of the diaper.

So that a new cause of discomfort for baby appeared, the remaining liquid formed a real cold compress making him uncomfortable.

The invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.

It relates in fact to a combined diaper for complete exchange use comprising, on the one hand, a lower sheet of absorbent material partially wrapped by a layer of nonwoven not present in its lower central part, where it is located secured by bonding to an impermeable outer protective sheet, on the other hand, a double-thick central reinforcement and absorption pad fixed to the central ply by two bonding lines, and formed of a layer of absorbent material with envelope , with lateral sides folded under its central part, the extreme edges being contiguous or providing space, and in that the assembly is covered with a nonwoven retaining sheet whose edges cover the folded edges of the sheet protection and are joined together by bonding.

The diaper according to the invention has a large number of advantages compared to the combined for use of traditional complete diapers, namely:

- better absorption;

- a perfect seal against the turbulence of a baby;

- the unique contact of the nonwoven with the skin prevents any local allergy or redness;

- the very structure of the layer facilitates absorption and spreading in the lateral direction;

- the central technical spacing allows the formation of a hollow or longitudinal receptacle;

- direct bonding of the lower layer on the protective sheet ensures better contact.

All of these qualities are found in the version more specifically studied for periodic fittings.

The invention will be better understood on reading the following technical description, given by way of nonlimiting example and on observing the accompanying drawings in which:

fig. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the complete diaper according to the invention, large size model;

fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the complete diaper according to the invention, normal model;

fig. 3 is a perspective view of the complete diaper according to the invention;

fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a variant in the form of a sanitary pad;

fig. 5 is a mixed perspective and sectional view of the variant shown in FIG. 4.

The complete diaper according to the invention consists, first of all, of a load-bearing part formed by an impermeable external protective sheet 1, for example of plastic material of the polyethylene type, the edges 2 of which are folded over the ends of a lower sheet 3 formed of an absorbent core 4 of cellulose or cotton wool, known under the name of fluff, partially wrapped by a film of cellulose wadding sheet 5 on the upper face and part of its lower face.

Indeed, the central lower part of the fluff 4 is glued directly to the protective sheet 1 by means of at least six glue threads such as 6.

On the middle part of this lower ply rests a central reinforcement and absorption pad 7 of double thickness, fixed to the lower ply at its edges by two bonding lines such as 8.

This central buffer is formed in double thickness from a strip, by folding and folding down its longitudinal wings 9 under its median part.

The extreme edges 10 delimit a more or less wide technical space 11, depending on the size of the layer determining its use.

Thus the full change large version (fig. 1) has a larger spacing than that of the normal version (fig. 2) which can vary in large proportions.

The central pad has, like the lower ply, a structure formed of a core of absorbent material 12, for example fluff, wrapped in a fabric 13 of cellulose wadding sheet, for example similar to that constituting the lower ply 3.

The assembly thus formed is covered by an external retaining fabric 14, for example of nonwoven, the edges 15 of which are attached to the edges 2 of the sheet 1 of external protection by gluing, in order to avoid any allergy or redness.

It is noted that the diaper according to the invention consists of a triple thickness structure in its central part, formed by three layers of absorbent material, each held by an envelope of cellulose wadding.

This sandwich sandwich structure increases the path of the liquid and greatly favors its lateral diffusion.

The rupture created by the two non-contiguous edges of the central buffer produces a complete spreading of the liquid in the buffer and directs the surplus towards the central part of the lower ply,

thus avoiding propagation of the liquid to the edges of the exchange.

The lining, directly derived from the complete diaper according to the invention and shown in fig. 4 and 5, has a general structure similar to that of the complete diaper described above.

It consists of an outer envelope 16, for example of nonwoven, closed on its underside by covering and bonding at 17 of its longitudinal edges 18.

This envelope covers two upper and lower absorbent layers, respectively 19 and 20, supported by an impermeable protective sheet 21 placed directly under the lower layer and glued to the underside thereof to ensure a perfect seal.

Said lower layer has a simple buffer structure, such as the lower layer 3 of the complete diaper (FIGS. 1 and 2) and of the same dimensions as the upper layer 19.

It supports, over its entire surface, the upper ply 19 formed of a pad, the wings 22 and 23 of which are folded back under the middle part 24 and the longitudinal end edges 25 of which are left free and distant from each other of a technical space 26 fulfilling the same role as space 11 of the complete change.

Said wings are secured to the lower pad at the edge 25 by two lines of glue such as 27.

Of course, a core in absorbent structure of this lining ends at the ends, and the envelope is extended by two holding tabs 28.

Of course, the invention is in no way limited to the above description of the complete change and the periodic lining which is a direct variant, but covers all these modes of execution-15 tion and, moreover, various modifications form, materials and constitution, its various elements are within the scope of the invention.
