In dem Maschinenkörper α sind die FaIzrollen b und c so gelagert, daß sie beim Drehen mittels der Kurbel d durch die Zahnräder e und f in Bewegung gesetzt und durch die Schraube g aneinander und auseinander gebracht werden . können. Auf diese Platte wird die zu verschließende Dose gestellt und die Platte so weit in die Höhe geschoben, daß der Deckel der Dose nach Fig. 5 an die untere Seite der Falzrolle b anstößt und der Falzrand des Deckels zwischen die Falzrollen b und c tritt. Durch die Schraube g werden die Falzrollen allmählich aneinander gebracht, während die Kurbel gedreht wird.
