Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein künstliches Fußgelenk. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine den Unterschenkel mit dem Fuß verbindende Feder als Ersatz eines Achsen- oder Kugelgelenkes vorgesehen, die eine allseitige Beweglichkeit des Fußes ermöglicht.The invention relates to an artificial ankle. ist, daß sie sich möglichst der natürlichen Form des Fußes anpaßt. Ihre Befestigung
kann entweder, wie dargestellt, an einer in Form einer Stelze gehaltenen zentralen Tragstütze
b oder auch direkt an einem massiven Fußteil erfolgen. In beiden Fällen soll
jedoch Vorsorge getroffen werden, daß für die Feder α bei Überschreitung einer bestimmten
Höchstbelastung eine die Überbelastung aufnehmende Unterstützung vorgesehen ist. Diese
Aufgabe kann zweckmäßig das frei nach unten ragende, mit geeignetem Polster c versehene
