Verfahren zur Herstellung von Acetylen aus Methan oder anderen gasförmigen Kohlenwasserstoffen Im. Patent 501 179 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Acetylen aus Methan bzw. Naturgas beschrieben, welches darin besteht, daß das gegebenenfalls vorgewärmte Gas in einem .elektrischen Ofen über als Widerstand geschaltete feinstücldge Elektrodenkohle geleitet wird. Es ist ferner bereits vorgeschlagen worden, dieses Verfahren dadurch zu verbessern, daß die feinstückige Elektrodenkohle durch solche Widerstandsmaterialien ersetzt wird, welche eine große innere Oberfläche aufweisen, wie z.
