Abstract

A volumeter is, in its measuring chamber and on its bladed measuring wheel, free of rheological aids which usually ensure a linear measurement characteristic. The output signal of a sensor (50) co-operating with the measuring wheel is evaluated with respect to the interval of successive sensing pulses by means of a discriminator circuit (56, 58). The output signal thereof is used to address a correction memory (74), in which corrected elementary volumes for the various speeds of rotation and working temperatures are filed. The latter are added up by a measuring counter (92), if appropriate after stepping down by a programmable divider (80-84). <IMAGE>
