Abstract
Process for the preparation of hard alloys, characterized in that oxygen-poor nitride powders are mixed, and/or nitride-carbide and/or carbonitride mixtures are mixed, with an O2 content of less than 0.15% by weight, preferably less than 0.05%, optionally carbide powders, preferably in solid solutions, and finally a binder alloy powder consisting of at least one metal from the iron group and at least one metal from the chromium group, This mixture is ground into a liquid form, dried and sintered under reduced nitrogen pressure, preferably 200 to 500 mm of mercury.
