Abstract

A diver's suit, constituted by an elastic and flexible watertight shell which clings essentially tightly to the surface of the body of the diver. The shell is constituted by a porous material, the pore size of which is substantially larger than the size category of the water molecule but substantially smaller than a water droplet, so that the shell is permeable to water vapour and at the same time impermeable to liquid water. In addition, a layer of fabric has been fastened to at least the one surface of the shell.
