Abstract
The wind driven motor has a vertical mast on which are mounted at least two rotary vanes, the transverse section of each vane having a convex shape. Each vane is formed of at least two elements which are placed end to end each pair of elements being articulated about an approximately horizontal axis. The upper and lower ends of each element are connected to the mast by strands or braces, each strand preferably being connected at one end to an element and at the other end to a control winch on the mast.
