Abstract

The distributor pipe is connected to the hopper by means of a hollow, conical piece connected to the open base of the hopper. The drive mechanism converts the rotary motion coming from the driving shaft of the tractor, into a to-and-fro oscillating movement of the hollow conical part and of the distributor pipe. A counter-weight is positioned diametrically to the distributor pipe in relation to an oscillating shaft. The centre of gravity of the oscillating parts is situated on or near the vertical line passing through the centre of gravity of the whole machine.
