Abstract
1. Heat exchanger incorporating an enclosure (2) provided with an entry (41) and an exit (43) for a gas, in which are housed metal tubes (1) channelling a hot gas and the ends of which terminate in tube plates (21, 22) which close the said enclosure (2) in which are housed internal partitions (51, 52) compelling the gas to circulate alternately at the centre and at the periphery of the enclosure, characterised in that it incorporates a set of entry pipes (41, 42) which is situated near each tube plate (21, 22) and a set of exit pipes (43) which is situated between the said sets of entry pipes so that there shall be two gas streams flowing in opposite directions.
