1,120,426. Bearing bracket for electric motors. LICENTIA PATENT - VERWALTUNGSG.m.b.H. 28 July, 1965, No. 32247/65. Heading H2A. [Also in Division F2] A plastics bearing bracket 1 for a fractional H.P. electric motor, e.g. for driving a sound device, has a plastics bearing 6 resiliently mounted within an opening in the bearing bracket by means of resilient webs 7-10. The webs may have oval, circular, or rectangular cross-sections or they may be formed by laminations. Also the webs may be tangential to the bearing 6 as shown or may be radially positioned (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown) and pins (22, 23, 24, 25) extending axially from the bracket may provide a ball-and-socket connection with sockets on the housing of the motor and sound device. Holes 4, 5 in the bracket 1 are for securing it to the stator of the motor.
