Games of chance.- Apparatus for drawing the winning numbers and the numbers of the prizes in a game of chance or lottery comprises a receptacle or trav with a number of grooves or recesses, or a barrel with a number of shoots, and disks or balls with figures, zeros, and blanks, the disks or balls entering the recesses or shoots to indicate the required numbers. In one form. a tray a, Fig. 2, with a rocker bottom has a partition dividing it into compartments b, b' and one or more rows of recesses in each compartment. Disks f<1> with figures indicating the prize numbers are placed in compartment b<1> and a large number of disks f with figures 1 to 9 and zero and also blank disks are placed in compartment b. The tray is rocked and then tilted to uncover the recesses into which disks have entered as shown, and the winning and prize numbers are indicated by the trapped disks in the compartments b, b<1> respectively. The compartment b may be divided into five divisions.. In another form, a two-compartment barrel A. Fig. 4, has shoots E, E' with slits or made of glass so that the figures on balls, which enter the shoots when pins C are withdrawn, may be read. Withdrawable pins C' prevent the balls from leaving the shoots, and the balls placed in the barrel are mixed by blades D on a shaft B rotated by a handle O.
