Abstract
1,266,620. Slip-rings for dynamo-electric machines. CHEMIEKOMBINAT BITTERFELD VEB. 17 Dec., 1969, No. 61466/69. Heading H2A A slip ring assembly for a dynamo-electric machine comprises an insulating carrier formed of two parts 2, 3 screwed one on to the other, carbon slip rings 1a, 1b, 1c borne by the carrier, a conductive ring 4 disposed against a face of each slip ring, and elastic insulating rings 6 between adjacent slip rings. Where, as in Fig. 2, there are three slip rings, the carrier includes a further ring 7 to support the middle slip ring. Connecting tags 5 extend through bores in the carrier from the conductive rings 4. The slip rings may be glued to the carrier, which may be of moulded material.
