Abstract

1281534 Cold and heat retaining vessels INSULEX Ltd 11 Dec 1969 [12 Dec 1968] 59260/68 Addition to 1021252 Heading F4U The concept disclosed in Specification 1,021,252 of providing paper, card or like material 10 with a pattern or design printed thereon in the space 9 formed between two nested containers 1, 6 of synthetic plastics material joined around their mouths is applied generally to insulated vessels, other than cups and like vessels for liquids. As disclosed the concept is applied to a double-walled ice-bucket of frustoconical shape, Fig. 1, and to a rectangular shaped butter dish (see Fig. 2, not shown). A layer of foamed polyurethane is provided between the decorative insert 10 and the inner container 6.
