Abstract

1325820 Boxes P PERRERO & C SpA 7 July 1972 [24 Sept 1971] 32035/72 Heading B8P The lid 2 of a box has a flap 5 provided with a tongue 6 that engages a cut-out 3 in the front wall of the box; this latching means can be operated repeatedly. The flap 5 has a crease line parallel to the front edge of the lid with an incision at the centre of the crease forming the tongue 6. The cut-out 3 has a semicircular recess 4 which facilitates the insertion of the tongue 6. When the lid is closed the flap portion 5a is pivoted about the crease line so that the tongue 6 can enter the cut-out 3. The lid is released by reversing the movements of the tongue.
